Homeward Bound is an annual event that takes place to raise funding for and awareness about affordable housing and homelessness. The event is organized and governed by a local steering committee made up of dedicated community leaders. Every dollar raised goes directly to the benefiting agencies of HomesteadCS, LTHC Homeless Services, and Family Promise. The 2019 Homeward Bound Walk will be held on Sunday, April 28th at Memorial Island at Columbian Park.
The Homeward Bound Walk is an approximately 2-mile non-competitive walk.
The event will take place rain or shine. Free food and refreshments will be provided for participants of the walk beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Runners, walkers, wheelchairs, strollers, and dogs on leashes without a history of aggression are welcome. Please no bikes, skateboards or rollerblades.

Homeward Bound Walk: Free but individual and team donations are encouraged since this is a fundraising event. Every walker who donates at least $25.00 will receive a t-shirt.
In addition to at least a $25.00 donation, we ask that each walker shoots to raise at least $125 by asking friends and family to support you by contributing to your fundraising goal. Donations can be made online or in-person using cash, check or credit cards.
IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING WALK REGISTRATIONS: The Homeward Bound Walk is a way to raise money to end homelessness and provide stable housing for people in our community. We encourage everyone to come together to support this cause!
